Thinking of buying a new or used car? Looking for advice about how and where to finance the car? Wondering if you've chosen the right mechanic and what you need to do to keep your car safe and working well? Come learn all the secrets to buying and financing a car, choosing a repair shop, and keeping your car running right.

The class will be taught by two veteran auto safety and auto fraud experts with long experience at Montgomery County's Office of Consumer Affairs. They'll share their expertise and answer YOUR questions about what you need to know to get a good deal on your next car. They'll also offer good advice on how to understand car loans and finance your car without falling into a debt trap.

The event is sponsored by Consumer Auto, a coalition of consumers and car experts working to speed up recalls and repairs and make carbuying safer and fairer for all Maryland drivers, in cooperation with Catholic Charities and the Maryland CASH Campaign.

This class is hosted by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington. For more than 80 years, families, children and adults in need of help and hope have been able to turn to Catholic Charities to find comprehensive, caring and competent  support. With 63 programs working in 48 locations across the District of Columbia and the surrounding Maryland counties, Catholic Charities is uniquely positioned to help families overcome poverty and isolation and empower those they serve to live self-sufficient and independent lives.
