    Your presenter will be Mark Timmick, a local Retirement & Estate Planning Specialist. Mr. Timmick is an experienced retirement planning professional and Investment Advisor Representative. He is also a published author and frequent public speaker, he has written for local newspapers, he is an active member of the Financial Planning Association, and he is the current President of the Howard County chapter of The Society for Financial Awareness.

    • Know the pros and cons of various savings tools (from stashing the cash at home to savings bonds and bank deposit accounts)
    • Understand the distinction between "spending less" and "saving," and
    • Explore the wonders of compound interest.
