  Description: The Federal Trade Commission reports that nearly 9 million Americans have their identities stolen every year. Don’t be one of these statistics. Learn how you can better protect your information and ultimately, your identity.
  
  Participants will learn:
  -Ways to make smart consumer choices, whether buying at thrift stores, shopping for a car, household items,  groceries or saving money, and
  -How to avoid common consumer scams such as ID
  Theft, Work at Home scams, Credit Repair scams and more.

  One hundred years ago a group of caring community members came together to help those who were most in need. This particular group called themselves the Social Services League, and established their tradition of "Neighbors Helping Neighbors."

   

  In 1959, the organization's name was changed to Family Services Agency. To meet the needs of the ever-changing Montgomery County population, Family Services has expanded and now houses 14 different programs!
