  Description: Achieving the American Dream of homeownership is a path with many steps. If you are a prospective homeowner or simply interested in learning the ins-and-outs of the home purchasing process, this is the class for you.

  • Saving for homeownership
  • Pre-approval process for financing
  • The basics of mortgages, and

  This class is provided by Beth Viscarra, a member of the Howard County Financial Education Alliance.
  
  Beth Viscarra is a fulltime licensed Maryland Realtor that specializes in working with first time home buyers and financially distressed homeowners. She has pursued advanced education in short sales and foreclosures and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in Social Work and Psychology.
